Meet Marsha Hancock, an avid lover of the great outdoors, who finds solace and therapy amidst nature's embrace. With a profound passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering strong family bonds, she considers these aspects as her primary ministry.

When not immersing herself in the healing powers of nature, Marsha dedicates her time to teaching ballet to young children, a pursuit she has joyfully engaged in since 2004. Her commitment to dance extends beyond teaching, as she actively participates in contemporary classes, Zumba sessions, yoga practice, and gracefully glides on skating rinks.

Marsha's unwavering dedication to women's empowerment led her to establish "Iconic Beautiful Voices," a platform where she celebrates the beauty of women in all their diverse forms, shades, and sizes, empowering them to embrace their uniqueness.

For Marsha, "Culture Queens" serves as a sanctuary, a place to recharge, reflect, and share laughter with like-minded individuals. The hiking adventures she embarked upon with these wonderful queens unexpectedly became a lifeline during challenging times. Inspired by these experiences, she began leading morning yoga sessions, guiding the queens to relax their minds, bodies, and spirits, while uplifting them with encouraging words.

Believing that every queen deserves moments of self-care and reflection, Marsha advocates for taking the time to simply be, recognizing its profound impact on nurturing the soul.

Meet Katedra Davis, a dynamic and compassionate individual whose life journey has taken her across the globe as a missionary, a leader of kids and arts camps, and a substance abuse and life skills counselor. Now settled in Charlotte and recently married, she has ventured into the world of banking while continuing her mission of helping and encouraging others, particularly those who feel forgotten or less fortunate.

Katedra's passion lies in creating a sisterhood, a strong bond that connects individuals who may be in need of support, understanding, and a sense of belonging. She firmly believes that we all have something to offer and can make a difference in each other's lives by bringing healing, kindness, and joy. For Katedra, empathy plays a crucial role in our interactions with others, as we cannot truly help without understanding and compassion.

Drawing from her own experiences of personal growth and healing, Katedra envisions a sisterhood that serves as a safe and nurturing space, allowing each member to find strength, support, and encouragement. Her dedication to creating such a community stems from the belief that together, we can uplift and empower one another.

Meet Michelle Brewington, a dedicated advocate for women's well-being and personal growth. With an unyielding commitment to self-care and empowerment, she firmly believes that self-love is a catalyst for positive change.

Michelle takes great joy in encouraging women to embrace their authentic selves fearlessly, firmly believing that perseverance leads to the realization of dreams and goals. Celebrating individuality and fostering an atmosphere of growth in mind, body, and soul are foundational principles in her approach.

With a wealth of experience in project management and brand strategy spanning over 20 years, Michelle excels in team building, communication pathways, and effective reporting structures for executive leadership. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a published romance author and accomplished entrepreneur, heading brands that offer custom apparel, books, and journals.

As the visionary behind "Curator of Sexy," Michelle passionately promotes women's self-confidence, self-love, intimacy, and overall well-being. Her dedication to empowering women through sisterhood, cultural arts, and her diverse ventures is evident in her commitment to making a positive impact on women's lives worldwide.

Through her creative prowess and genuine enthusiasm for inspiring change, Michelle remains a driving force in the journey of healing and self-discovery for women everywhere.

Treasurer

Meet Tracey Lane, the dedicated Treasurer of Culture Queens.

Tracey has a decade of expertise in Accounting and Sales & Use Tax.

Her financial acumen perfectly complements her passion for the outdoors. Amidst the 2020 Covid Quarantine, wanting to connect with like minded souls, Tracey connected with Culture Queens, drawn by their mission to introduce women of color to art and nature. From that first hike led by Jennifer to three years later, participating in numerous adventures, Tracey's involvement has woven a tapestry of unforgettable hikes.

She's had the amazing opportunity to trek alongside Jennifer during a special Culture Queens feature on PBS. As Treasurer, she combines her financial proficiency with her commitment to community empowerment, ensuring Culture Queens can continue its inspiring mission.

Tracey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from NC Central University and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
